"I think if the bands want to present material to give away for free on the net, it should be the live shows. By streaming the sessions from the studio, we have been able to inhibit downloading (stealing) of music material and have created a great place for a private label listening room," states Grayless. Call Don at 1.VIP.675.6326 to schedule your next concert recording or demo session.
Meanwhile.. Monica Weber Grayless, was recently elected Vice-President of the part-time faculty association at Columbia College in Chicago, where she teaches Special Events Production and Intro to Arts Management. April 12, 2002 her class produced the "Battle of the Bands" at the Self Employment in the Arts Conference in Naperville, sponsored by the Coleman Foundation with students from 11 Illinois colleges in attendance. The students produced an event commercial at a workshop in the Skokie studio. Advancing the production, the class wrote the copy for the 30-sec spot, chose the music and directed the voiceover arrangement, media placement and promotion of the conference. Grayless also was the keynote speaker at the conference luncheon on April 13, 2002. Any interested students are encouraged to call 312-344-7654 for class registration information. Check out Monica's website VirtualParties.Com for event services info.
Video Killed the Radio Star: Watch for Dress Digital to begin streaming recording sessions this summer. The studio is totally wired with all streaming media produced through our Sony Vaio suite.
